Our Tour
A 2 hours 20 minute walking tour through the military past of Ireland told through four iconic military landmarks on a 3km walking route. The Royal Hospital Kilmainham and explore the Confederate wars and the Battle of the Boyne. Kilmainham Gaol, place of execution of the leaders of the 1916 rising and incarceration for anti-treaty rebels during the civil war. The National War Memorial Gardens, commemorating the sacrifice of the Irishmen and women who perished in WWI and WWII. The Wellington Testimonial commemorating Ireland's most successful General, the victor of the Napoleonic wars. Our guides will bring together the stories of these sites and the people and great events that shaped the story of Ireland. €15 per earner, €7 for non-earners, and children under 12 are free.
